Asian Handicap & Over/Under Settlement Calculator

Asian handicap and over/under markets don't just win or lose — they can push (stake refunded) or, on quarter-goal lines, split your stake into a half-win or half-loss. That is exactly where bettors get caught out, assuming a bet paid on the result they pictured rather than the rule written into the market. Enter a line and a final score below to see precisely how it settles. This tool explains settlement; it does not pick or predict anything.

1. Asian handicap settlement

Enter the handicap on the team you backed (e.g. -0.5, -1, -0.75, +0.25) and the final score. A quarter line such as -0.75 splits your stake across the two nearest lines.

Settlement applies the handicap to your team's score: you win if (your goals + handicap) beats the opponent. A whole-number line can push; a half line never pushes; a quarter line settles as the average of the two nearest lines.

2. Over / under (totals) settlement

Enter the totals line (e.g. 2.5, 2.75, 3), whether you backed over or under, and the total goals scored by both teams.

Over wins if total goals exceed the line; under wins if they fall short; a whole-number line pushes on an exact hit; a quarter line splits the stake between the two nearest lines.

Read the settlement, not the label

This calculator makes one thing concrete: what a handicap or totals bet actually pays on a given score. It does not recommend a bet, predict a result, or change the value on offer — a shorter price for lower variance is still a priced product with the house margin inside it. The honest use is literacy: know which results win, refund, half-win or lose before you stake, so a "safer-looking" market never settles as a surprise. Spreading stakes across many of these markets on one match means paying the edge several times, not diversifying.
